EVMS Compliance Strategy For EIA 748-C EVMS Industry Standards Compliance
EVMS COMPLIANCE CONSULTING & EIA-748 C GAP ANALYSIS:
EVMI® will work in close concert with the client (whether it is a US Federal Government Agency or Commercial client) in reviewing their EVMS plans and verifying initial compliance with DOD Earned Value Management system criteria and most importantly, ensure compliance and conformity with all the 32 guidelines stipulated in Standard EIA-748-C, Industry Guidelines for Earned Value Management Systems.
Upon initial review of the client’s EVM system, EVMI® will provide the client with analysis of the results of the initial EVM compliance review, and will inform the client about whether all the EIA 748-C criteria have been met based on the review. A GAP Analysis will show whether any deficiencies exist in the client’s current EVMS. In the event that there are deficiencies, these deficiencies will be listed and outlined without any ambiguity, in the form of a letter, report, or other document, and sent to the client ‘s Point of Contact (POC) with improvement recommendations. Other analysis performed include maturity assessments using some of our in house built models and tools.
In the event that a client, contractor or supplier does not have prior Government acceptance of their EVM system, EVMI® shall assist the client’s Contracting Officer or Source Selection Board in determining the adequacy of the proposed EVM system plan. The main objective of evaluating the system plan is to gain a firm understanding and insight of the client’s proposed internal EVM system and, more specifically, its intended application on any US Government related procurement or a particular contract. Typically, the clients entire EVMS to include People, Processes and Technology, will be overhauled and documentation such as the Systems Description Document (SDD) will be re-written to ensure compliance with the EIA-748-C industry standard,
