Project Skills for America's Stimulus Projects
COURSE
HIGHLIGHTS
This Project Skills course is designed to
develop the basic knowledge base of project personnel in the application of
project management theory, fundamentals and PMBOK® guidelines that will be
utilized on America’s Stimulus Projects. The course focuses on
basic project management competencies, project soft skills, team building and
conflict resolution. Practical examples, case studies and best practices are
used to further increase Project Management knowledge base. Upon completion of
this course students will be able to Develop Project Plans, Prepare Project
Charters, Develop Work Break down Structures (WBS), Understand Project
Scheduling Techniques, Identify Network Schedules & Critical Paths, Identify
Organizational Structures & Types, Stakeholder Responsibilities & Roles, Risks
Management, Quality Assurance & Earned Value Basics.
