EVMI Earned Value Management Instititute’s Consulting Services Group is seeking several Certified Chief Project Control Officer (ChPCOs) with superior Project Control leadership, management, direction and execution functions to work remotely (100% telecommute) on very large/mega-sized projects/programs in the USA and around the globe.
Work you’ll do
As an advanced and Certified Chief Project Control Officer (ChPCOs) supporting EVMI’s consulting practice you will lead and execute tasks associated with advanced Project Controls, Risk Management, Scheduling (Time Management), Change Control, Quality Control and Earned Value Management for mega-sized projects.
Main functions include:
a) Manage, develop, control, review and assess the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with Cost Performance Report (CPR). Assist with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and perform schedule assessments for each contract’s IMS. Prepare an IMS analysis.
b) Assist in the preparation of independent Estimates At Completion (iEAC) based on Earned Value Management (EVM) data. Provide oversight of EVM analysis, data and reporting
c) Manage, lead and preside over Variance Analysis meetings, reviews and all related reporting.
d) Engage in assessments and performance status reviews with Project management teams and senior management.
e) Populate an EVM database
f) Produce EVM Health metrics included in the contract performance summary report (PSR).
g) Prepare Risk Registers
h) Lead Change Control Board
i) Lead Risk and Quality Control Board
• BA/BS in Related Field and 10 years’ experience or MA/MS in Related Field and 7 years’ experience
• Specialized or related knowledge in Earned Value Management and hold current Earned Value Management Professional (EVMP) certification from EVMI Earned Value Management Institute
• Chief Project Control Officer (ChPCO) certified from EVMI Earned Value Management Institute
• Experience of working independently and leading teams in solving complex problems
• Experience of providing daily supervision and direction to support teams.
• Experience with analyzing and tracking very large sized project budget, cost, and schedule data
• Experience using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); working knowledge of MS Project and or Primavera
• Experience using Earned Value Management and Project Control software

Work you’ll do
As an intermediate Earned Value Management Analyst supporting Deloitte’s federal government practice you will be expected to independently support tasks associated with Earned Value for complex weapon systems such as:
a)Review and assess the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with Cost Performance Report (CPR) and/or Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) data. Assist with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Schedule Deep Dive (SDD), and schedule assessments for each contract IMS. Prepare an IMS analysis.
b)Assist in the preparation of Government independent Estimates At Completion (iEAC) when requested by the Program offices using EVM data, risk information, and other programmatic factors to include funding information obtained in the Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR).
c)Maintain a wInsight EVM database for each contract with earned value; populate the databases with data from the Prime contractor’s CPRs/IPMRs.
d)Assist the EV Directorate with updating and implementing EVM and IBR policy memoranda and instructions/manuals incorporating industry best practices. Provide recommendations on new instructions, directives, or improvements to be considered.
e)Engage in assessments and performance status reviews with IPTs and senior management.
f)Populate an EVM database with data from the prime contractor’s CPRs/IPMRs.
g)Produce EVM Health metrics included in the contract performance summary report (PSR).
h)Assist the program offices in the conduct of EVMS joint surveillance with focus on prime contractor’s processes. Compile and maintain a database of CARs, issued by government and contractor corrective action plans submitted by prime contractors. Assess the CARs and plans and submit findings.

•Active DOD Secret Clearance (at a minimum) is required
•BA/BS in Related Field and 5 years’ experience or MA/MS in Related Field and 3 years’ experience
•Specialized or related knowledge in Earned Value Management such as an Earned Value Management Professional (EVMP) certification
•Federal Earned Value Management experience
•Experience of working as a team member to solve complex problems
•Experience with analyzing Federal Government cost data
•DoD Agency or organization experience, such as Missile Defense Agency (strongly preferred)
•Experience with EVM databases such as wInsight, DCMA EV standards
•Professional services or federal consulting experience
