A: Yes, it is widely considered in industry and internationally. EVMP® is the gold and industry standard for Earned Value Management Professional credential certification. Earned Value
Management Institute®, EVMI® has had Earned Value Management Professional®, EVMP®
program participants come from a cross section and diversity of commercial
companies, international firms, and US federal government agencies such as the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI), US Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and US Department
of Navy Contractors to name a few.

No. The EVMP® credential certification
program is instructor
led and attendance is live in person. EVMI® believes that the EVMP® participant
gains more insight, skills, competencies and knowledge from the actual classroom interaction
with both the instructor and other course participants.
Question # 3: Do I receive any materials for the
FIVE day EVMP®
credential certification program training?

Yes, all study materials and everything you need to
study for and to pass the EVMP® exam will be handed to you on the first day of class.
Some soft copy read ahead materials will be emailed to you prior to the start of
class.
Question # 4: What do I need to do prior to the first day of my Earned
Value Management Professional® EVMP® credential
certification class?

Earned Value Management Institute®, EVMI® strongly
recommends that you do three things prior to the first day of class: (1) Read
the general areas of Planning, Scheduling, Risk Management, Quality Management
and Cost Control/Earned Value Management from any standard project management textbook, (2) review your basic
earned value management formulae and earned value management basics (3)
familiarize yourself with the industry standard ANSI- EIA- 748B guidelines which
compose of thirty-two (32)
criteria

For some classes, Earned Value Management Institute®, EVMI®,
will reserve a small block of discounted hotel rooms onsite at the class
location. These rooms are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and
must be booked by the student directly. Earned Value Management Institute®, does
not coordinate, does not participate in any hotel related transactions, collect

Note that you will not be allowed to leave with or

What is the EVMP® exam retake policy?

you do not pass the EVMP® examination on the first attempt, you are given up to 90 days to retake the EVMP®
exam. The 90 days is calculated from the date on your EVMP® examination results
notification sheet and not from the date that you took the actual EVMP®
examination
The cost for retaking the EVMP® examination is
$599.00.

will have to send a written request for the
EVMP® examination retake forms by sending an email request to:

If you are not successful after the second attempt, you must re-apply again to take the full EVMP®
training course.
(Our EVMP® program is very
dynamic and the EVMP® program materials change every 90 days based on new
information, trends and information).

Yes. 60 Professional
Development Units (PDUs) are required
over a three year
period
AFTER
you attain your EVMP® credential
certification. Note also that PDUs are a mandatory part of retaining your EVMP®
certification once you pass the exam. Non-EVMP®s cannot earn PDUs.

Question #18: How long do I spend in class each day?
The entire course instruction lasts
4 and half days, covering 36 hours of classroom time. Our instructors are available before and after each

evening and they typically take about an hour to complete.

class on the first day.

Eat a good breakfast, and arrive ready to learn. Be alert
and well rested for class, and above all, avoid distractions. it is important to
dedicate yourself completely to this task and leave cell phones, pagers, etc
outside the class. Block the time completely off your work schedule so that
people know you are unavailable during class. This will allow you to focus all
of your mental attention on the important task of preparing for the EVMP® Exam.

No pictures are allowed to be taken of persons taking the course, instructors or
materials utilized in the class.
If you are found to be recording any parts of any of our training programs, EVMI®
will request that you leave immediately and we will take any recordings that you
have made from you.

Question #24: Where do I take the EVMP® Exam?

A:
The EVMP® Exam is taken on the fifth day at the
location given for the earlier four days of instruction. It is a continuous five
day program and examination that leads to
EVMP® exam taking on Day 5.
For four and a half days of instruction we will reinforce
you with the necessary tools, techniques and exam strategies required to pass
the EVMP® on your first attempt on the fifth day
Question #25: What should I bring to class?

You must purchase and bring to class 1 basic calculator, 3 highlighters (different colors),
3 pencils, 1 writing pad and 1 writing pen.

on?

EVMP® credential certification is
based on the score
from your
EVMP® credential examination which is a
200 question 4 hour exam. You need to
obtain a 80% score to pass.
Completion of all case studies and
exercises are prerequisites for completing the EVMP®
course, so you must complete all exercises and case studies by the DUE DATES.

in any format (whether electronic or hard copy) of the actual examination,
exercises or case studies of any of its credential certification programs that
count towards the credential certification's overall grading back to the
participant after grading, during grading and before grading.
After
grading, EVMI® will only send out an overall score sheet summary
and credential certification results for all the parts of the
examination, case studies and exercises of the credential certification taken by
participants.

presented misleading information about their identity, education, experience or

credential certifications for reasons that are not what these

credential certifications are designed for, or for any other reasons that EVMI®
deems unacceptable.
EVMI®
further reserves the right to not enter into any correspondence regarding the
rejection of such application. If an application is rejected, the full
registration fee and cost of course will be returned to the applicant within
thirty days. Any completed application forms that were submitted for a rejected
application is retained by

Question #42: What is EVMI®'s Policy on Rejected Payments Using Checks?
PLEASE NOTE:
Earned
Value Management Institute®, EVMI® reserves the right to terminate your
application immediately if
the prospective
applicant, during application processing submitted payments through
checks that are deemed: "bad", "fraudulent", marked with "insufficient
funds", have been written in language that is not "clear and
discernible" and so on.
The check in which
payment was to be drawn from will be destroyed immediately, and you will
be notified via email. If such check is deposited and returned, the
prospective applicant will pay for any fees incurred such as fees on
returned checks to EVMI®.
PLEASE NOTE: EVMI®
will not incur any further costs such as returning/mailing to you any
bad checks or returned checks as such checks are voided and destroyed by
the Bank to which the payment is to be drawn at.
Question #43: What is EVMI®'s Policy on Credit Payment Refunds Via PAYPAL?
It takes up to thirty days
for
Earned
Value Management Institute®, EVMI® to process and complete a Refund to you if
you paid with a credit card via our online PAYPAL credit card gateway.
